In Our Words: “This was an apartment we furnished for a new development in the DogPatch. 815 Tennessee’s architecture has a great balance of old and new. The original brick facade vs. the modern interiors was a nice way for us to integrate the idea of blending vintage pieces and new designs that have been created by artistic craftsmen. This design practice is something I enjoy incorporating into new construction projects, and the architecture of this particular site really lent itself to this vision. The high ceilings and clean finishes were a strong jumping off point. It allowed us to create a narrative of furniture and lighting that felt sophisticated and artisanal. Plus, the scale of each room let our art and accessories selections enhance existing details to make each room feel unique and welcoming.”
