In Our Words: “The Cumberland Street residence is the culmination of Geremia’s most extensive residential undertaking to date. Working in collaboration with a local developer tasked with renovating this Mission District home after a fire, we focused our early efforts on combining traditional craftsmanship with modern detailing to preserve the building’s 20th century San Francisco charm. Upon completion of the renovation, the home was sold to recent New York City transplants who proceeded to work with Geremia to customize the home to their sophisticated and modern tastes. Incorporating streamlined furniture, highly curated art, and expressive bespoke furnishings, the selective palette was highlighted and the architectural details preserved.”
